Programs for Moroccan Teachers
Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistantship Grant (FLTA)
This is a nine-month, non-degree program for young teachers or teacher trainees, in either the public or the private sector. The program enables young educators to develop new teaching skills by serving as teaching assistants or as primary instructors to teach Arabic at an American university.
Fulbright Distinguished Awards Teaching Grant (DAI)
A four-month professional development program enables high school teachers to be hosted at an American university. During their stay, they attend classes, undertake projects related to their field of educational inquiry, visit local schools, lead classes, participate in team-teaching, and engage in various pedagogical activities.
Teachers of Critical Languages Program Grant (TCLP)
A one-year program for Moroccan EFL teachers to teach Arabic to American students at primary and secondary school level. TCLP grantees are introduced to American teaching methodologies and are immersed in American culture and society for a full school year.
