Internationally Renowned Films

Inception (2010), Gladiator (2000), Babel (2006), The Last Temptation of Christ (1988), and The Man Who Knew Too Much (1995) are just a few examples of films shot in Morocco. Martin Scorsese utilized Morocco's biblical settings for his film The Last Temptation of Christ (1988), while Ridley Scott recreated ancient Rome in Gladiator (2000) and Egypt in Alain Chabat's Mission Cléopatre (2002). The country's kasbahs and desert landscapes served as the backdrop for the fictional kingdom of Westeros in the Game of Thrones series and will continue to be featured in the upcoming House of Dragon series, set 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones.

Moreover, it places a special emphasis on nurturing young talents through the "Cinécoles" competition, which recognizes the best short films crafted by students.

These cultural and religious events, which perfectly symbolize Moroccan traditions, occur during the renowned Moussems and festivals.
