He also emphasized the broader African and American context of the partnership as he stressed the importance of fostering synergies that promote complementarity and collaboration in higher education, echoing a shared commitment to nurturing human resources that can shape a brighter future for our countries.

He emphasized the need to expand partnerships beyond traditional academic domains to address evolving challenges and opportunities, including Morocco's strategic development plans and its upcoming co-hosting of the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
Echoing sentiments of friendship and collaboration, MSU President Mark E. Keenum recalled his personal ties to Morocco and the enduring relationship between MSU University and UIR. He advocated for the expansion of collaborative efforts beyond traditional academic disciplines into areas such as agriculture, healthcare, and anthropology, reflecting a commitment to holistic partnership.
The event concluded with the signing of the MoU and the exchange of symbolic gifts.
