ECOWAS Parliament Speaker Awarded Crans Montana Foundation Prize

Speaker of the Parliament of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Moustapha Cissé Lo was awarded, Saturday evening in Dakhla, the Crans Montana Foundation Prize 2018.

The award was handed to Cissé Lo at an official ceremony attended by eminent international figures, key guests of the Crans Montana Forum (FCM), which is being held in Dakhla on Oct.15 to 20.

This prize is a recognition of the work done by Cisse as speaker of the parliamentary organization of ECOWAS 16 member states for the integration, freedom and development of its peoples.

The same prize was also granted to Debbie Remengesau, First Lady of the Republic of Palau, and Michel Martelly, Former President of the Republic of Haiti.

This prize has been awarded annually for more than 30 years to rare international figures in order to promote their action in favour of peace, freedom and democracy.
