HM the King Sends Condolence Message to Chadian Pres. over Passing of Late Sheikh Hussain Hassan Abakar

HM King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and compassion to president of the Republic of Chad, Idriss Deby Itno, following the death of Sheikh Hussain Hassan Abakar, chairman of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs in Chad and the Chadian branch of the Mohammed VI Foundation for African Ulema.

In this painful circumstance, HM the King extended to Idriss Deby Itno, to the family of the deceased and to the brotherly Chadian people, his heartfelt condolences and most sincere feelings of compassion, asking God to grant them patience and comfort after the death of this great man who devoted his life to serve the holy Islamic religion and disseminate its noble values of love, coexistence, tolerance and fraternity.

"His passing is a great loss, not only for the sister republic of Chad, but also for his second country Morocco" that lost a great friend to which he was closely bound by a sincere fraternity and love, said the Sovereign in this message, stressing that the deceased was constantly striving to strengthen these links by helping to establish and lay the foundations for cooperation in the religious field between the Ulema of Chad and their Moroccan peers.
