HM the King Visits 'Wahat Al Karama' in Abu Dhabi

HM King Mohammed VI visited, Sunday in Abu Dhabi, the Wahat Al Karama (oasis of dignity), a place that pays a permanent tribute to UAE's brave soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving the Nation.

At his arrival at the Wahat Al Karama, the sovereign was received by Sheikh Khalifa Bin Tahnoun Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Director of Office of the Martyrs Families' Affairs at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court, and reviewed a detachment of the honour guard.

HM the King, afterwards, headed for the Memorial where he laid a spray of flowers.

HM King Mohammed VI, then, visited the Wahat Al Karama which also includes the Pavilion of Honour, the Memorial Plaza and the Visitors' Centre.

The sovereign also signed, on this occasion, the visitors' book.

HM the King is on a working and friendship visit to the United Arab Emirates at the invitation of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
