Ambassador Bouhlal meeting with American University's students,Washington D.C., on October 11, 2012.

In the framework of the American University's seminar on Global Economics and Business, Ambassador Rachad Bouhlal met with a group of students on October 11, 2012, and made a presentation on "the future of Morocco".

On this occasion, the Ambassador focused on the ongoing socio-economic reforms in Morocco as well as the prospects of development in strategic sectors such as aeronautics, automotive and renewable energy. He stressed the strategic geopolitical position of the Kingdom, as well as the Free Trade Agreements concluded with the United States, the European Union, Turkey and some Arab Countries.

He also underlined the excellent relationship between the United States of America and the Kingdom of Morocco, marked recently by the launching of a strategic dialogue covering different spheres: political, security, economical, cultural and educational.

Ambassador Bouhlal answered student's questions about investments in Morocco, the impact of the economic crisis in Europe on the domestic economy especially on the tourism sector. The Ambassador also stressed the promising economic relationships that Morocco maintains both with the United States and Europe.
