Ambassador Rachad Bouhlal's presentation On Morocco and its Engagement in Africa at the Georgetown University, Center for Contemporary Arab Studies .

Ambassador Rachad Bouhlal was the guest speaker at the event organized by the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies (CCAS), on March 6th, 2014.

This event is one of The "Breakfast with Ambassadors" series of the Center's efforts to connect national leaders and policymakers with students, faculty members, board members and friends in the larger CCAS community. .

In his presentation, Ambassador Bouhlal discussed some of the most salient matters related to the Moroccan-American relations, Morocco's path of reforms and progress, and the growing role played by the Kingdom in shaping a new model of partnership based on South-South cooperation among African countries.

He highlighted the important visits by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to Mali, Côtete d'Ivoire, Guinea and Gabon, from February 18th to March 7th, 2014, as a demonstration of Morocco's commitment and the Personal engagement and vision of His Majesty for the well-being of African populations, the economic and social development of African countries as well as for security and stability in the whole continent. .
