Documents and Services :

Consular Registration
The consular registration is mandatory for Moroccan nationals to benefit from the consular services they would need.
Required documents:

  • Moroccan Passport
  • Moroccan National Identity Card (C.I.N or C.N.I.E)
  • Permanent Resident Card or proof of status
  • Two color photographs (Passport size)
  • Birth certificate
  • Proof of address

Biometric Passport


Required documents:

Adults

Minors 12 years and above

Minors under 12 years

  • Consular card
  • Application form duly filled out
  • CNIE or receipt
  • Old passport
  • Birth certificate
  • Two recent passport size photos
  • Consular card
  • Application form duly filled out
  • CNIE or receipt

Electronic National Identity Card (C.N.I.E)



NB: The presence is mandatory.
Required documents:

  • Consular card
  • Birth certificate in Arabic and French (original) dated less than 12 months, or the original and a copy of the 1st page of the family book of the father and a copy of the page concerning the candidate.
  • All the information must be in Arabic and French ( first and last name, parents’ names, names of paternal and maternal grandfather)
  • Two recent photos of the applicant ( 3.5*4.5cm)

Marital Status

A-Family book for husband born in Morocco:



(The Family record book is established by the Registry Officer at the husband's birthplace)
Required documents:

  • Husband’s and wife’s registration cards ;
  • Original of the Moroccan marriage certificate (strictly necessary) + Copy ;
  • Integral Copy or husband's Birth certificate ;
  • Integral Copy of wife's birth certificate (not the birth certificate).

For non-Moroccan wives, Birth certificate (with filiations : names of the father and the mother) ;

  • Copy of both sides of the husband's National Identity Card (C.I.N);
  • Copy of both sides of the wife's National Identity Card (C.I.N).

For non-Moroccan wives, Copy of the passport (identification page);

  • Two (2) photographs of the husband

B- Family book for husband born in the USA:

  • Registration card of the husband and the wife (for the Moroccans);
  • Original of the marriage certificate + a copy ;
  • Integral Copy or the Birth certificate of the husband ;
  • Integral Copy of the Birth certificate of the wife (not birth certificate). For non-Moroccan wives, Birth certificate  (with filiations : name of the father and the mother);
  • Two (2) photographs of the husband;
  • Certificate of employment, or Student certificate (or copy of student card) for student, for the husband.

Registration of Birth
Required Documents

  • Registration card of the father and the mother ;
  • Original of the Moroccan marriage certificate (strictly necessary) + Copy ;
  • Original of the Birth Certificate of the child + Copy ;
  • Family book ;
  • Birth certificate of the father ;
  • Birth certificate the mother ;
  • Application form for birth notification

Registration of Death
Required Documents:

  • Registration card of the dead person (if registered) ;
  • Booklet of marital status of the dead person or of his/her father ;
  • Moroccan passport of the dead person ;
  • Certificate of death, delivered by the American authorities ;
  • National Identity Card (CNIE) of the dead person;
  • Birth Certificate of the dead person ;
  • If married, a Birth Certificate of the spouse ;

To declare twelve (12) months at the latest after the date of the death

Validation of Marriage
Required Documents:

  • Registration card ;
  • The Civil Marriage Certificate ;
  • The presence of two (2) Moslem witnesses, provided with an identity paper with photograph, and knowing the couple to have attended their ceremony of marriage ;
  • National Identity Card (CNIE), or passport for non-Moroccans.

Repatriation of Body to Morocco
Required documents

  • Inform the consular section of the death,
  • Death certificate from the Department of Health to be issued by a Mortuary,
  • ‘Mise en biere” certificate to be issued by a Mortuary Institution,
  • Coffin certificate to be issued by a Mortuary Institution,
  • Clearance for coffin’s exit out the US,

Visa

  • Notes

    The holders of valid US passports do not need a visa to enter Morocco for max. 90 days. The passport validity must cover the whole stay period in Morocco.

Deposit time

The VISA requests must be deposited at least 5 working days before the departure date to Morocco, at the consular section office, between 9:00am and 03:00pm
Required documents

Please note that Citizens of the following countries do not need a visa to enter the Kingdom of Morocco and may stay up to 90 days:
