-06 January 2015 :The Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco – Consular Section – in Washington DC is pleased to announce to the Moroccan community residing in the USA, that the operation of exceptional revision of the electoral lists will start from December 22nd 2014, to February 19th 2015 in accordance with Dahir Charif n°1.14.191 dated on December 10th 2014 . Please be advised that the registration on the electoral lists can be done directly at the location of the consular section of the Embassy, or by visiting the web site www.listeselectorales.ma or Registration form duly filled out

-17 October 2014 :The Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco, Consular Section, is pleased to inform the Moroccan citizens that they can no longer use their Moroccan non-electronic ID Card, starting December 31th , 2014 even if it is still valid. The Moroccan citizens are advised to renew their Moroccan ID before this date.

-02 August 2014 :The Consular secton of The Embassy of the kingdom of Morocco would like to inform our Moroccan citizens that M. Abderrazak MGHARI, the Electronic National Identity Card agent, will be absent from 11 August 2014 to 19 September 2014. The CNIE service will be closed during this period.

-15 June 2012 :The Consular Section of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Washington, DC, has the honor to inform all Moroccan citizens that Mr. Abderrazak MGHARI, the Electronic National Identity Card officer, will be on vacation, from July 31st to August 31st, 2012.
The CNIE Section will be closed during this period.

-31 May 2012: in order to promote and strengthen the partnership with associations of the Moroccans of the world, the Ministry in charge of the Moroccans Living Abroad is launching a new program aiming to carry out joint projects with associations of Moroccans in a great number of fields.
According to the Ministry of Moroccans Living Abroad, this program, extended for this fiscal year, aims at funding associations with development projects or in relation with social, cultural and sports fields. The main purpose of this partnership will be to strengthen the relationship amongst the Moroccan Diaspora with their home country. It will also widen the circle of partnerships in their countries of residence and extend it to a greater number of actors.
To participate in this program, interested Moroccan associations are invited to download the required form, available at: www.marocainsdumonde.gov.ma, which must becompleted and submitted to the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco who will ensure its transfer to the Ministry forthe Moroccans Living Abroadfor consideration.

-31st March 2012,The Consular Section of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco will open the last Saturday of every month: In order to better serve the Moroccan Community, meet the diverse needs of its members for adequate delivery of administrative documents, the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Washington DC will open the last Saturday of every month, starting March 2012, from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm.
