The Kingdom has shown its capacity to follow through successfully on the organisation of this large-scale, international event, which was marked by the reception and presence of several Heads of State and government, as well as several personalities, in particular political figures, media and numerous civil society organisations. It is an unprecedented event in our country, concerning the future of humanity, in terms of the number and level of participants, as well as the results achieved at this conference.

On this occasion, His Majesty, King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, expressed his thanks and his highest esteem for the incomparable efforts of the Organising Committee and the Steering Committee, as well as the different local authorities and districts, national security, the military and auxiliary forces, private sector actors, organisations from civil society and the inhabitants of the city of Marrakesh in general.

HM the King has also praised the spirit of responsibility, engagement, strong mobilisation and the firm resolution shown by all players to a successful world summit.

It’s a source of pride that the measures taken and the rigorous organisation of this large world congress did not affect the daily lives of Marrakchis. To the contrary, from the start and throughout, they displayed openness and participation, in their own way towards this unprecedented event. Nor did it impact the tranquility of the tourist establishments of the ochre city, which retained their smooth operational manner within the parameters of security, calm, and well-being.
